In addition to being certified by Max Havelaar, Monsieur Poulet’s cotton is 100% organic and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified cotton since August 2009. Our cotton is dyed according to Oeko-tex standards, with no chemical dying involved.
Our personal beliefs made us look for a new way to sell the goods we offer.
To us, Fairtrade is a healthy relationship, where people meet and talk, and where respect is one basic element. By offering fairtrade goods, we make a modest contribution to make the world a better place, and to teach people that there is another way to do business.
Monsieur Poulet's cotton is from Center of India. The goods are then made in Southern India.
Our goal is to make sure the ethical aspect of the product we sell is all over the chain production. Even the nice design on the shirts and sweaters are made by a company that use Earth-friendly and non toxic products. For instance, we don't use plastic at anytime during the production of our goods.
